IT professionals, medical personnel, researchers, creative professionals and anyone else who needs easy access to their data on the go will benefit from this portable drive enclosure. Plus, it comes with a USB Type-C to Micro-B cable, for connecting to newer USB-C enabled laptops, tablets, and phones. A USB Type-A to Micro-B cable is also included to ensure backward compatibility with your existing USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices.
The enclosure is powered directly from the USB port on your device, which means no external power is required. For portable storage, you can tuck it away inside your laptop bag or carrying case and take it anywhere -- from your home to the office, the hospital, the lab, or out in the field, so that you can access your data wherever you go.
Protection for your data
The enclosure is engineered with a sleek and durable aluminum housing to help keep your data safe and secure wherever you go. Its aluminum housing and venting help to dissipate heat and passively cool the drive in order to help prevent drive failure and data loss.
